Sunday Spotlights 17
Well this was an eventful week, huh?! Seriously, I’m having trouble keeping track of everything that has happened since last just Sunday. Information about his taxes, the debate, the tapes about Christmas decorations, COVID in the White House… umm yeah, I’d say that’s a lot for 7 days!
But despite a lot of news to process, this was our first full week in the new place and we are in love. I’m so glad we worked so hard to get settled quickly because we were able to really settle into our routines again this week – and they feel GREAT in this space. Luna is even sleeping later here, which is pretty much life changing ? It’s the little things!

Adam and I have been watching Ted Lasso and I seriously cannot rave about it enough. It’s really well written, well acted, well produced – and it will make you fall in love with Jason Sudeikis. Seriously, watch it!
I found this episode of Pantsuit Politics really helpful in processing the debate. Love those ladies.
NEED these apple pie bars. NEED!
I just got Necessaire Body Wash and Body Exfoliator and I already get the hype. The sandalwood scent is heavenly and the exfoliator makes your skin feel SO SMOOTH. Big fan already!
When talking about abortion laws, it is so important to consider stories like this.
I Am Baker is posting reels about her “Your Content Is Terrible Hotline” and I can’t watch them without crying laughing ?
I went to Abercrombie’s site to check out the petite jeans they designed with Olivia Rink – and now I want these sweatpants, this dress, this top, and this bodysuit. Woops! (Use code OLIVIA for 25% off until tomorrow!)
Netflix released a trailer for a new holiday rom com and I am PUMPED.
So many questions about the Pumpkin Spice Creamer I posted on stories this week! I found it at the Whole Foods in Lakeview, but you can also get it at Target!
I got my updated voter registration so now I can officially vote early! What’s your voting plan?
My $22 coffee maker is on its last leg, so I’m thinking about upgrading to a Nespresso machine (I have some credit to spend!). I asked the gals in my Facebook group and so many said Nespresso is better than Keurig. A few also raved about the Ninja coffee maker which can brew a single serving or a carafe. (I’m also curious about this Bialetti Moka stovetop pot, too! So many options!)
The Align Tank is back in stock and I wonder if it’s as magical as the leggings…
If you don’t have time to read the main article about his taxes, this one highlights the main takeaways.

Uh Nespresso is hugely better than Keurig! We registered for Keurig and it immediately broke. The BBB lady offered us a trade for the Nespresso (a great offer!). Although we didn’t realize at the time that you can’t use pods from anywhere (like Keurig)…it’s been great and they do have a recycling program.

Ugh thats a pain but I’m glad it worked out!! Also, I chatted with my cousin who works for Nestle and she said that the original line of Nespresso machines can accept more pods than the Vertuo line – just in case you have to replace yours down the line and you want to switch it up to get more options!!
