Sunday Spotlights 39
Happy Sunday, friends. What a week it’s been! I feel like I have very much been on a roller coaster – from the highs of our date night to the Van Gogh Exhibit/The Drake Hotel and a meeting at our new wedding venue to the lows of coming back to reality and facing the devastating news out of Atlanta. To my Asian American friends, I am so so sorry that this happened and I am sending so much love your way as you grieve. As someone who always wants to encourage you to feel comfortable in your own skin, it breaks my heart that so many of you have been made to feel less than or afraid because of your race. The increased violence against the APPI community is horrific and unacceptable, and I stand with you against it.

There are few people more inspiring than Danielle Moss, so I was SO excited to see that she was featured on People.com for helping to raise over $100,000 since her sweet daughter Margot was diagnosed with Leukemia. If you haven’t been following their story, please follow along and send lots of prayers for their beautiful family ❤️
This caption by Rach Martino was so vulnerable and relatable. Love love love.
I thought this thread about how Christians teach sexuality is incredibly relevant and worth exploring more, especially considering the Atlanta shooter says he was “eliminating temptation.”
Demi Lovato shared a list of apps to help women feel safer after Sarah Everard’s murder. It’s sad that we need them, but it’s also good to know that they exist.
