The 10 Best Amazon Prime Day Deals (I own/love every single one!)
Okay to be honest, I was totally going to ignore Amazon Prime Day. I had no plans to shop it or cover it… but then I saw some of the deals this morning and I had to change my tune. You can find a lot of my favorites in my Amazon Shop, but this list covers 10 items I own, love, and highly recommend – all at a major discount!
Kindle Paperwhite (Marked down to $84.99)
I owned the first Kindle that Amazon made and when it died on me, I realized how much I really prefer reading this way. This particular Kindle reads like a book, but it’s super lightweight, it’s waterproof so you can bring it in the bath/pool/hot tub, you can buy books right on the device, and it doesn’t waste any paper or take up room in your apartment like regular books do! I seriously can’t recommend it enough. It’s always in my purse when I’m traveling or just commuting around the city, or next to my bed when I’m home. It’s usually $130 too, so snagging it for $84 is a seriously good deal!
Fire TV Stick (Marked down to just $14.99)
When Adam and I moved in together, we were both over 30 and had really nice TVs from living alone. We put Adam’s in our living room – but even though I didn’t want to just get rid of mine, we also didn’t want to pay for cable on two TVs. One of my friends told me about this Fire Stick and it’s honestly incredible. All you do is connect it to your internet and you can stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO, and even some sports games/live events through network apps. It’s usually $39 which I already thought was a steal… at $14, they’re basically giving these away. Take advantage of this one!
Dyson Vacuum (Marked down to $279.99)
I am not a good cleaner… I’m pretty sure I’ve admitted that to you guys before, right? There is so much on my mind all the time that cleaning just constantly gets pushed lower on my to-do list. Luckily, our Dyson has helped shift my cleaning mindset from “I need hours to clean” to “this vaccuum will clean this up in 5 seconds and then I can get back to the other thing I was going.” We have a slightly newer model, but for $279, I’d totally tell you to go for this one instead. Such a great investment.
Instant Pot (Marked down to $55.99)
If you’re looking for ways to make dinner easier and faster, an Instant Pot is a SUPER helpful tool. I love making a quick risotto with it, but I also love this chicken tortilla soup too.
Crock Pot (Marked down to $29.99)
Oh, how I love my crock pot! This one is slightly different from the one I have, but it looks very similar and is only $29!!! I don’t know why I always thought crockpots were all expensive. I mean… $29?! This is a no brainer if you don’t have one. I make salsa chicken in this a lot (works the Instant Pot, too), and it’s also great for turkey chili, zucchini lasagna, cranberry apple sauce, and vegetable quinoa soup!
Ice Roller and Jade Roller Combo (Marked down to $12.99)
Okay to be fair, I own this ice roller and this jade roller… but why not get both for $12.99?! Hell yeah! They’re both great for circulation, de-puffing, and honestly, they just feel really nice.
rxbar nut butter and simple mills crackers
I’m lumping these two together because – SNACKS! RXBar has 10 packs of single serve RXBar packets on sale, and you can get 3 boxes (with 6 single serve bags in each) of Simple Mills crackers. I heard these sales are at Whole Foods today, too!
Simple Facial Wipes (Marked down to $15.18)
These are my favorite budget friendly facial wipes (remember this post?) and this deal brings each pack of 25 wipes down to $4 a package.
Fitbit Versa (Marked down to $149.92)
I’ve had my Fitbit Versa for over a year and it’s honestly the best. Apple Watch WHO?! I’ve actually never tried an Apple Watch, but I love this tracker so much. It’s super user friendly, it syncs with your phone, and it even has some simple workouts you can do if you need inspiration. I rarely wear it in classes because I trust the teacher to push me, but it’s really helpful when I’m doing solo workouts!
Olaplex (Marked down to $19.60)
Jenna, the amazing gal who cuts and colors my hair, convinced me to buy Olaplex last year and I swear it’s a huge reason why I can go 6 months at a time before going back to see her. It’s such an awesome product for healthy hair.
Don’t forget to bookmark my Amazon Shop for more of my favorites, too!
Also, I promise that Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s posts have absolutely NOTHING to do with sales. PINKY SWEAR!

After humming and hawing for months, I finally broke down and bought a Kindle Paperwhite during Prime Days this week…I am so excited! I’m a huge Barnes and Noble supporter, and have several Nooks, but I also love my Prime account and decided I need to make the most of it by buying a Kindle so I can try out Prime Reading and Kindle Unlimited. I’m a huge reader, so I truly do not believe there is such a thing as too many books…or e-readers!
