Tie It Up with Polka Dots
I knew I needed to bust out this bright J.Crew bag at least one more time before summer ends. It’s so cheery and it always puts a smile on my face. Seems natural to keep that smile going by adding polka dots into the mix, right?!
Sunglasses: Kate Spade Shawna Glasses // Necklace: Capwell + Co Spike Necklace // Tee: Loft Sunwashed Tee // Bracelet: Old (similar here) // Bag: J.Crew Edie Grand Bag (new quilted version here) //
I’ve talked about crop tops here on the blog before, but instead of actually purchasing any this year, I went shopping in my own closet! The tee you use needs to be loose fitting with extra room around the hips. Bring all extra fabric to one side and tie it in a knot. It’s super simple, adds definition to the waist, and even a sliver of skin if you are feeling extra flirty!
I had a lovely time at my cousin’s beautiful wedding in the catskills this weekend. It was a great celebration filled with lots of irish relatives, beautiful scenery, and plenty of dancing. Now I’m back and looking forward to a warm, sunny, and productive week here in Chicago.
Did everyone have a good labor day weekend? How much longer do you think we can hang on to summer?
