Vacation Clothing Roundup
Happy Monday that may or may not feel like a Monday to you 😉 Since there are a bunch of President’s Day sales going on today, I thought it would be the perfect day to share this little vacation clothing roundup I’ve been working on recently. We’ve officially hit the part of winter when I don’t care about sweaters or coats anymore and all I want are bright colors and twirly dresses… plus I know a bunch of you are planning warm weather trips right now! Adam and I are actually heading to Arizona for a few days soon, too. To prep, I shopped through my closet to put together a few looks for the trip – and a LOT of items I loved are still available! Check out how I styled them below, along with links and sizing insights (I’m 5’2″ for reference!).
The best oversized distressed jean jacket EVER from an awesome sustainable/ethical company. It feels like you’ve had it for years as soon as it arrives in the mail… its amazing. I definitely could have gotten an XS, but I love the easy way this fits me. Use code LAURENN15 for 15% off!
Ecomove Active Dress
This dress is another great sustainable find! The ecomove material is really comfortable and will be great in super hot temperatures because it’s moisture wicking. I also love that it has built in shorts – no need to worry about any strong gusts of wind with this on 😉 I got a size small.
I guess sustainability is a theme with this outfit! I’ve been eying these sneakers for so long because I love my other shoes by Rothy’s and WOW. I’m pretty sure these are my favorites already. They are wildly comfortable and I love that I can wash them if they get dirty! Use code LAKESHORELADY20 for $20 off your first order of over $100.
If you’re looking for an affordable weekender bag to bring with you on your trip, I can’t recommend this one enough. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s such an awesome purchase. You can read more about it here!
I got this tank on a total whim last year and it’s truly one of my all time favorite workout tops. The best part? It’s only $17.99!! I wear a size small.
I’ve tried a few different bike shorts, and these are definitely my favorite. I will never think of them as “fashion” (not happening on my bod 😂), but they are SO comfortable, they stay in place for workouts, and they’re great for hikes or outdoor activities when it’s warm outside. I have a size 6!
These are the same sneakers I wore with Outfit #1!
This is one of the most universally flattering swimsuits EVER. I shared it on my stories last week and I had a few people of varying body types all tell me that they have it and love it, too! The fact that you can tie it to fit exactly how you want it to is so awesome. Highly recommend.
I got this coverup last year and it really does look so much more expensive than $28. It’s definitely cuter when I wear it open since I’m short – but I’ve seen it buttoned on taller gals and it looks super chic!
Able generously sent me these sandals last week and I am SO EXCITED to wear them! They remind me of Birks, but they feel slightly more feminine to me. Use code LAURENN15 for 15% off!
I lost my other sunglasses, so I got this $15 pair for our upcoming trip and they are PERFECT. BIG fan.
Open Back Midi Dress
I bought this midi dress for our mini-moon last year and while it’s more a maxi than a midi on me, I still love it and get compliments every time I wear it! I got a size 4 and it fits perfectly.
The same ones I wore in outfit #3!
These sweet bow sandals were generously gifted to me and, while I know they’re pricey, they are so beautifully made. I can already tell that they are sandals I’ll have for years and years.
This is another dress that I got for our mini-moon last year, and I’m so glad it’s still available in different colors! I have this in a size 0 (I’m usually a 2 or 4 in their dresses), and if you think you’re the same size, there’s ONE left in the print I have here!
The same sandals I wore with Outfit #4!
Cropped Thermal Top
Remember this review? Well, this is the same top in green! I love the brand’s commitment to sustainability – plus the quality is EXCELLENT. I have this in a size small.
Citizens of Humanity Easy Shorts
These shorts came in an online order right before I was filmed this reel so I threw them on for this look! I’m still debating if I want to keep them since they’re ridiculously pricey – but they are SO comfortable. I got a size 27 and the denim is considerably nicer than cheaper jean shorts. I’m torn!

Cropped Thermal Top
The same top I wore in Outfit #6!
After falling in love with the pants, I decided I also needed the shorts version! It’s such a nice material for lounging around. I got them in a size small.
