Coral at Carnegie (or the Waldorf)
Dress: c/o Sail to Sable | Bag: c/o Vera Bradley | Sunglasses: Calvin Klein | Shoes: c/o M.Gemi | Belt: Nordstrom

A few weekends ago, I hosted a fun event at the Vera Bradley store in Water Tower Place with my friend Maya from Charmingly Styled. It was so great to shop the new fall collection (SO many goodies!), and to hang out with Holly and Kalyee, two of the loveliest ladies who work for the brand. I always love working with brands that excite me, and compared to the trusty old overnight bags, Vera’s leather collections just keep getting better and BETTER.
I was immediately drawn to this backpack as soon as I walked in the store, but since I already have one, I thought I should probably go for something more practical… and THEN I saw Kalyee rocking this bag, and it looked completely different without all of the stuffing in it. Turns out it slouches with wear, and becomes a fun and effortless addition to my lineup of handbags.
Plus, it’s perfect for shoot days – my DSLR camera fits perfectly in there!
Speaking of shoot days, I’m in LOVE with this dress by Sail To Sable. The color, the swiss dots, the ruffle sleeves… HEART EYES. It was a little too big/long on my when it came in the mail, but instead of worrying about altering it, I just grabbed a belt and bloused the dress over the top of that to bring the hem up. Worked like a charm!
If you couldn’t make it to the event – don’t worry! You can watch Maya and I oogle over pretty bags on Vera Bradley’s Facebook Live 🙂 You can also contribute to their #ItsGoodToBeAGirl campaign… I’ll talk more about that later in the week… along with a nighttime version of this daytime look! Woo!
Big thanks to Maya for these photos!
