Vintage Florals

Let’s talk about vintage! I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have a ton of it in my closet. In fact, the only pieces I have are from my Nana’s closet (thanks Nana!). When I’m super busy, I just don’t think to head to a vintage shop (I’m also not an expert on where to go!) and sift through for gems. That being said, I love the idea of it. In a world that’s full of fast fashion, wouldn’t it be better if we ditched the sweat shops and wore unique pieces that (bonus) have a little history woven in?
Enter: Moth Oddities
Moth Oddities is an online shop that specializes in vintage fashion and handmade goods. It’s also owned by Ali B‘s friends Yana and Ian!! They just wrapped up a nation-wide road trip, during which they visited 28 states searching for the best vintage items. So when these experts, who also happen to be Ali’s friends, reached out to me to ask if they could HAND PICK some goodies for me to style that NO ONE ELSE has… well, obviously I said yes!
As soon as they showed me this floral skirt, I had major heart eyes. The colors are bright and vibrant and the midi length is super trendy again. I paired it with a casual chambray shirt and tied it in a knot to accentuate my waist a little bit more. And to finish it off, I added a few retro nods with this super soft saddle bag and (knockoff – shh!) mules.
I’m a shrimp, so midi skirts require heels. Not complaining though – this combo makes me feel so feminine and flirty!
Interested in adding some vintage pieces to your closet?! Moth Oddities is offering 10% off any purchase with code LAKESHORE10. You can already score this skirt for only $32, so… no brainer, right?!
