Wedding Guest Dresses for Fall/Winter + Reformation Try On
Not sure what to wear when your friend’s get hitched this season? Here are my favorite wedding guest dresses for Fall and Winter!
Happy Friday! This week has been a tad overwhelming, but there were still some bright spots! My little collection with Abby Alley went live on her site, I got to see my friend Ali from Alice & Wonder last night, and we’re painting our bedroom this weekend! Hooray for no more yellow walls!!!
Wedding Guest Dresses
But let’s chat about wedding guest dresses! It can be really hard to find dresses for Fall/Winter weddings because the weather is a real factor this time of year. I always like to have either my arms or legs covered for these kinds of weddings, because even though you’ll likely be inside most of the time, it’s still COLD outside!
Luckily there are a lot of trends right now that work in our favor. Long sleeves, maxi dresses, and jumpsuits are everywhere, so you can be a little bit more covered and still feel super chic and fun. WIN! Here are some of my favorites…
Long Sleeve Dresses:
One of my best friends is getting married next month and I’m thinking about splurging on this dress for it. I love that it can easily be dressed up for a wedding, but it could also be dressed down for a ton of other occasions. I also think these polka dots are really fun, this open back is amazing, and this lace is so classic.
Fancy Dresses:
Sooo if I had a bigger budget, and I was going to a fancy wedding this Fall/Winter, I would buy this dress in a HEARTBEAT. SO PRETTY ๐ I also really love this rentable option and this flutter sleeve dress (that could be dressed down for a more casual wedding or holiday party, too!).
Under $200:
Not going to lie, I am VERY tempted by this leopard midi dress and this red jumpsuit. Also, how sexy is this LBD? (And it’s under $150!)

Reformation Try On
One of my best friend’s is getting married on Sunday and I was just going to wear something from my closet… but then I swung into Reformation when I was in the Gold Coast yesterday. I couldn’t resist and I ended up bringing a dress home with me. Woops! Here’s what I tried on:
PS. I’m 5’1″ and usually an XS in tops and size 26 in jeans. Hope that helps!
Creed Dress, Size 2
This is the one I bought! This print is available in regular sizing here or in petite sizing here. I tried a regular size on in store and it’s a little long on me, but the slit breaks it up so much that I don’t mind/need to shorten it. Such a fun dress for Fall and Winter weddings, holiday parties, date nights, galas – you name it!
Creed Dress, Size 2
This is the same dress in a different print. I thought I’d like this one more than the green, but as soon as I put the other one on, I was sold. Still love this print though!
Susanna Dress, Size XS
This was another contender, but since I already have a wrap dress from Ref, I figured I should go with something different. I also really wish this one came in petite, because it would be nice if it was just a little bit shorter. Still gorgeous though!
Boheme Dress, Size XS
I’ll show you more in my stories today, but this dress is NOT for petite gals. There is way too much fabric, especially in the arms. It is definitely made for longer arms than mine ๐That being said, it’s a pretty killer dress if you’re taller – and it comes in a pretty blue, too!
Lucita Dress, Size 4
THIS DRESS IS SO CUTE. If I was in a more practical mood yesterday, this would have been my winner. It’s super versatile, I love the print, and when I went up a size, the fit was perfect. An awesome option for petite gals!
Mulberry Dress, Size Small
This one felt a little blah on me. Because there’s no slit, the extra fabric just hung on me. Great for taller ladies though. So sophisticated! (Comes in solid red, too!)
Moon Dress, Size 2 or 4
Don’t hate me, but I didn’t take a picture of the tag on this one so I forget what size I tried on! It was either a 2 or 4 and it’s a great classic cut. Like all their dresses, I love the way it nips your waist in. So flattering!
