Wellness and Fitness Gift Guide
Who’s ready for another gift guide?! I know that sometimes the more general guides can feel a little overwhelming, so I’m excited to highlight one of my favorite topics: wellness and fitness! I love getting these types of gifts because they’re so USEFUL! It’s not a gift just for the sake of a gift – it’s something that they can use day in and day out for a long time to come. And they make you feel GOOD. Three cheers for that!
Cute Workout Set
If you work out with any sort of regularity, getting fresh new workout clothes is always nice. Especially when they’re CUTE! The majority of my sports bras and leggings are from Lululemon – and you can read my whole guide to fabrics/lengths/sizes in this guide to Lululemon leggings. I also really like Everlane’s sustainably made athletic wear, and I always hear great things about Athleta. And speaking of sustainable brands, have you seen Reformation’s new active collection? I am DYING over the prints, and highly considering snagging this active dress even though it’s very cold in Chicago already 😂 Wouldn’t it be so cute for sightseeing on vacation?!
Crossrope Jump Ropes
I have the Get Lean Set from Crossrope and it is an awesome gift for anyone who is looking to add more cardio into their routine. I love that they don’t take up any space, you bring them anywhere, and because they’re weighted, you really get a full body workout in a super short amount of time. You can also get 10% off with code LAKESHORE10!
Home Gym Accessories
In addition to the jump ropes, small home gym accessories make such a great gift – especially since most of us still aren’t rushing to gyms or group fitness classes. Bala bangles, light weights, and booty bands are all great for barre/pilates lovers, even if they don’t have a ton of space to spare. I also think this Kettle Gryp is SO smart! I’m sure I’m not the only one who doesn’t want a set of weights AND kettle bells – and this solves that problem for under 40 bucks.
Also, if they don’t already have a subscription to the Peloton app, that is the BEST GIFT. Even if they don’t have a bike, the app has tons of classes in categories like strength, HIIT, barre, pilates, yoga, and more. They even if outdoor running classes if they’re a runner. All for just $12.99 a month. I know, they should really sponsor me for how much I’ve raved about this app. Call me, Peloton!
And lastly, if they have an off brand bike, a Wahoo Cadence Sensor allows them to match their speed with the cues given in Peloton classes. Alternatively, if they have an original Peloton but wish their screen swiveled, you could get them this attachment that allows the screen to pivot. Yay for useful gifts!
My favorite CBD company, that also happens to be Chicago based/female founded, launched their gift sets and the Relieve Luxury Gift Set is such a useful and dare I say, unexpected gift for any active person in your life. It includes their Relief Balm (Adam’s favorite Equilibria product! So great for sore muscles, especially shoulders!) and Nourishing Body Oil. Use code LAKESHORELADY for 15% off your purchase!!
I definitely can’t call myself a runner, but I bought myself this belt bag a few months ago when I was forcing myself to take advantage of the nice weather – and it’s SO great. It fits my phone and keys perfectly, and unlike my fanny pack, it doesn’t bounce at all when I run. Also, my favorite running shoes also come in their water resistant wool fabric, which would be so great for anyone who runs outside all the way through winter!
I was hesitant to add my FitTrack in because scales can be really triggering for people, so please just know that I only suggest getting this as a gift for someone who you KNOW wants it already! I’ve had mine for over a year now and it’s become such a great tool for me to check in with my body and what healthy habits I want to keep up with vs. which less stellar habits I need to keep an eye on. It gives you 17 different markers of health, which makes it way less about your weight and more about your overall health. You can use code LAKESHORELADY for 20% off, too!
PS. Don’t forget to check out my other gift guides, too!
