What I Own From The Shopbop Sale + Spring Favorites
Hey friends! After allowing myself to get really overwhelmed yesterday, I’m trying to be aware of my anxiety today. I started the day with a good workout at the gym, and then this morning has been all about this roundup post… and I’m actually really excited about it!
As you may have heard, Shopbop is having a sitewide sale for the next 3 days. You can get 20% off EVERYTHING, or 25% off if you spend over $500 with code EVENT19. These sales are the perfect time to snag items that never get marked down, like designer jeans, shoes, and brand new dresses.
In case you don’t have time to peruse their whole site (it’s a LOT!), I found 13 items I own and love from the sale. Think practical shoes, petite friendly pieces, and Spring staples! I also read through your answers to my story yesterday about what you are shopping for and picked more favorites in those categories! Obviously Shopbop doesn’t have everything you’re looking for this Spring, but it’s a start!
What I Own
Soludos Platform Sandals
I am not normally a platform girl, but my friend Monique changed my mind about them! These platform sandals are SO comfortable, and it’s really nice to get an extra boost without really feeling like you’re wearing heels. Especially since I’m a shrimp and Adam is so tall… they’re definitely going to come in handy this Spring/Summer!
Also, I was hoping this dress would be a part of the sale, but it’s sold out on Shopbop! Luckily, Bloomingdales has it in stock AND on sale (!!) – so if you like it, snag it NOW! I’m wearing the XS and it fits perfectly. Faithfull The Brand also has a bunch of other cute styles in the Shopbop sale, too!
BB Dakota Faux Suede Jacket
I purchased this suede jacket a few years ago, and I have gotten so much use out of it. It’s the perfect neutral jacket during mild weather, it travels well (I wore it a ton in Barcelona and Portugal!), and it’s reasonably priced! This year’s version comes in 4 colors too – so you can pick the one that goes best with your wardrobe. Highly highly highly recommend.
J Brand Cropped White Jeans
Oh, white jeans. I’d rank shopping for white jeans up there with shopping for bathing suits. Luckily, this pair of J Brand jeans are soft, comfortable, flattering, and great for petites because they’re cropped! I actually put these in the wash with something red and they turned pink… so I’m pretty sure I’m going to snag another pair during this sale. I’m wearing my usual size 26 and you can see more photos of them in this post.
Cupcakes & Cashmere Leather Skirt
I know this skirt is a bit of an investment, but it’s such a great staple to have in your closet! I have a size 2 and I could have sized down, based on the amount of room in the waist. Instead of exchanging the size, I’ve been half-tucking sweaters into it – which I think will be so cute without tights for those mild Spring days coming our way! See more photos in this blog post.
Madewell Slide Sandals
MY FAVORITE SANDALS EVER. No, really. They’re the most walkable, comfortable, versatile sandals I’ve ever had. You’ve seen them in tons of Instagrams and blog posts, but you can see more of this particular outfit in this blog post. If you like a boost, but don’t want to stumble around in heels – these are perfect. Runs true to size!
Dolce Vita Straw Mules
I got these straw mules before our trip to Barcelona and Lisbon and they’re the perfect slide for Spring and Summer. They rubbed the inside of my foot a little bit the first time I wore them, but now that I’ve broken them in, they’re super comfortable. I’m wearing my usual 6.5!
Madewell Loafers
I’m convinced these loafers are the chicest flats out there. You can wear them with casual outfits or feel confident walking into a work meeting! They’re also beautifully made, and once you wear them once or twice, they’re incredible comfortable for walking around the city. BIG fan!
Beyond Yoga Tank
I don’t have a photo of me in this tank yet, but you’ve probably seen me wear it on stories, because I loooove it. I like to see my body when I work out so that I can make sure I’m in alignment, or I’m engaging my abs, or just to feel better when I look in the mirror ? (Long flowy workout tops aren’t always the most flattering on petite curvy bodies!) Which is why I love this particular tank – I can wear it loose when I’m hanging around the house, but I can tie it behind my waist before heading into my workout. Plus, the fabric is super soft and comfortable. I know want to get this cropped tank, too… so CUTE!
Striped Tie Waist Shorts
I got my shorts from Target last year, but this pair (only $56!) and this pair are SO similar! The older I get, the less interested I am in wearing jean shorts, so these are perfect. Super flattering, comfortable, and appropriate for a bunch of different occasions.
Jeffrey Campbell Bow Sandals
If you love bows like me, these sandals are a no brainer. Pair with a simple dress, and you’ve got the cutest Spring outfit that takes no effort at all!
J.O.A. Striped Sweater
I’m actually wearing this sweater today! I love that it’s cozy, but still lightweight enough for a spring day. So cute with white pants! I’m wearing an XS. I’m also wearing these white pants (too long for me) and my platform sandals!
Blue Polka Dot Dress
To be fair, this exact dress is from last year, but this flutter sleeve version is a part of the sale and SO CUTE! I love a navy dress because it’s versatile from Spring all the way until Fall, and it’s especially great with a classic trench.
Eugenia Kim Headband
I don’t have a photo of me in this headband, but if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen it in my story! It’s a really great neutral to wear with tons of fun Spring colors!
