Sephora Sale Favorites
Skincare and makeup rarely goes on sale, so when it does, it’s worth paying attention. I mean, we all use it all the time – so why not snag it at a discount, right?
Enter: The Sephora Sale.
I know 10-20% off might not seem like much, but it adds up QUICK. Haven’t you innocently stopped by Sephora for one thing and left with $200 worth of makeup before? I HAVE!
So, let’s all take advantage of this, shall we? If you’re a Rouge Member then you can get 20% off right now. If you’re a VIB Member like me, you can get 15% off starting on 4/13. And if you are brand new to Sephora, you can sign up to become an Insider and get 10% off starting 4/15. No matter what category you fall under, the code is OMGSPRING!
Don’t know where to start? Keep scrolling to shop through my favorites, a few of your favorites, and the best beauty gifts this holiday season! As for me, I was going to try a few facial moisturizers but now that this new CBD Face Oil is keeping me hydrated I think I’m going to mostly replenish my makeup – especially since I’m LOVING all of the Rare Beauty products I got during the last sale. Also, stay tuned for an IGTV about all of these products on Wednesday!
Sephora Sale Favorites:
Laneige Lip Mask
If you’ve been following me a while, you know that I am OBSESSED with this lip mask. If you deal with chapped or dry lips, this is the best product I ever ever used. EVER. And it lasts forever, so it’s a great one to get on sale! (My sister-in-law got it for me last Christmas and I haven’t had to replace it yet!) If you buy one thing from this sale, it should be this. The best.
Supergoop! Glow Screen
Do you have trouble remembering to put SPF on everyday? This product can help with that! The formula feels lovely on your skin (not greasy at all!) and I honestly wear it as my foundation most days in the summer or working from home. It doesn’t provide a ton of coverage, but it does give you a nice dewy glow! I also really like their Unseen Suncreen for days when I know I’m going to put foundation on.
Rare Beauty Foundation
Speaking of foundation, this one is SO LOVELY. It comes in a TON of shades and the 230N matches my skin so well. I especially like it because it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing foundation at all. It’s super light and smooth – and it’s paraben free and vegan!
Rare Beauty Concealer
Since I was ordering their foundation anyway, I thought I might as well try their concealer too… and it is hands down my new favorite. I find it to be really hydrating instead of drying, which is always nice when applying makeup under your eyes. I also got this in 230N, but it’s lighter than the foundation on purpose since most people use it to brighten under their eyes.
BareMinerals Setting Powder
Last summer, my eyeliner was ending up on my eyelids every day and I spent so much time blaming my eyeliner… until I realized that I really just needed a good setting powder! This one does the job, and doesn’t dry out my skin or settle in any fine lines. A great staple!
Hoola Bronzer
While I am most definitely not a contour queen, I really love that this bronzer works for a little light contour with the brush inside AND all over bronzed glow with a bigger brush that you might have at home. I have the “natural bronze” shade.
Rare Beauty Liquid Blush
I feel like this blush does what I always wished Glossier’s Cloud Paint would do for me! I find this one to be way easier to apply, and I love the way the color “Bliss” looks on my cheeks – a nice natural flush! That being said, I’m really curious about this new melting cream blush and I might try it out once I can shop this sale. Have any of you tried it yet?
Rare Beauty Brow Pencil and Gel
Can you tell I liked my Rare Beauty purchases last time?! I absolutely LOVE that this product has a pencil on one end and a brush with gel on the other end. It makes filling it and fluffing up my brows so easy. I have the “cool brown” shade.
Bareminerals Eye Shadow Palette
If we’re being honest, I’ve probably had this eyeshadow palette for too long… but it’s lasted and it’s so good! I have the rose-toned colors and they’re really beautiful.
Tarte Fake Awake
This Fake Awake liner was a total impulse purchase, but I really love it! I mean, how am I supposed to resist something marketed as “a makeup artist trick for bigger, brighter eyes”?
Benefit Roller Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
One of my biggest pet peeves is eyeliner that smudges. It drives me BANANAS and even my trusty eyeliners were starting to bother me. So, I thought I’d switch it up a try a liquid liner that everyone raves about. I don’t know why I thought it would be super hard to apply – it goes on very smooth and stays in place all day! LOVE it.
Wander Beauty Mascara
I have very straight lashes, so I’m not sure I’ll ever rave about a mascara as much as I rave about other products – but I really like this one!
Rare Beauty Dewy Lip Balm
Okay, this lip balm is the last Rare Beauty product – I promise! I was really missing color on my lips this past year, but putting on full blown lipstick felt a little extra for quarantine. This tinted balm is really hydrating with subtle buildable color. Perfect for a little mood boost!
Kopari Deodorant
Want to get on board with natural deodorants but haven’t found one that works? THIS ONE DOES! Plus, it smells like coconuts… and who wouldn’t want to smell like coconuts?!
Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum
During a previous sale, I was really feeling in need of quality anti-aging products for my skin. This Sunday Riley Retinol Serum came very highly recommended, and it was love at first try. I use a small amount 3 to 4 times a week and it helps reduce appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, promotes clearer skin, evens out your complexion, and it’s hydrating! (A major plus for winter!)
Farmacy Honeymoon Glow
I tried this resurfacing night serum over the holidays and immediately became a fan. It is a three-in-one product that resurfaces, hydrates, and clarifies your skin overnight to help with fine lines, wrinkles, and skin firmness.
Mount Lai Jade Roller
I met Stephanie, the founder of Mount Lai, on a press trip a few years ago and I was so excited when I saw her products at Sephora!! If you are in the market for a jade roller, please consider supporting this female-Asian owned business!!
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask
This mask is seriously awesome – it leaves your skin feeling suuuuuper soft and glowy. And it’s a clean brand! The only downside is the price. Is a very small jar worth $65? I’m not totally sure… that being said, if you trying to find the best resurfacing mask out there and it’s in your budget, I say go for it!
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
It took me a while to get behind this mask 100% – at first it just felt like a thick moisturizer. But after taking it on a bunch of trips with me, I totally fell in love with it. There’s a reason that “Jet Lag” is in the title… planes dry out my skin so much, and this rehydrates it like nothing else. I never travel without it anymore!
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
It may have taken me a second to get on board with the Jet Lag Mask, but not this one! This mask leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and soft – plus it smells like pumpkins and Fall! I am OBSESSED with it. The best!
Necessaire Sandalwood Body Wash
I was sent a package of Necessaire products a few months ago, and after putting them in our shower, Adam has become completely obsessed with the body wash and exfoliator 😂 Again, do you need to spend this much money on a body wash? Probably not. But does it smell lovely and make your shower feel like a spa? Why yes it does!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
I am not a big dry shampoo girl – I usually sweat when I work out and then I just need to wash my hair anyway. That being said, on days when I don’t work out, or I just do a light pilates or barre class, this dry shampoo is the one I always come back to.
Aquis Prime Rapid-Dry Hair Turban
I fought this purchase for a while because I figured I could just wrap a towel around my head… but I’m glad I finally gave in. This turban has a button at the nape of your neck that keeps it in place, and it really does help my hair dry faster. Plus, now that it’s cold outside, wet hair on your neck feels terrible… so this can help you beat the chill without needing to blow your hair dry immediately after your shower.
Olaplex Hair Perfector
Jenna, the amazing gal who cuts and colors my hair, convinced me to buy Olaplex last year and I swear it’s a huge reason why I can go 6 months at a time before going back to see her. It’s such an awesome product for healthy hair.
Vital Proteins
I actually didn’t know that Sephora sold Vital Proteins until a follower told me – but YAY for Vital Proteins on SALE! That rarely happens! If you’re new to collagen, you can read all about what it is and why I take it in this blog post.
One Two Lash Magnetic Lashes
If you haven’t been able to get lash extensions during COVID, or you just don’t feel comfortable keeping up with the maintenance/expenses – these are a great alternative! You can read all about my experience with them in this blog post.
Slip Eye Mask
This silk eye mask + CBD oil are literally the keys to a good night sleep for me. I’ve had mine for a few years now and I love it so much, it’s one of my go-to gifts! I seriously can’t recommend it enough. I don’t even travel without it anymore – it’s life changing.

Any idea if this will be the best Sephora sale during the holidays? Will there be a better sale during Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
November 10, 2019 @ 1:06 pm
Hey Mimi! Usually they just have a few special sales on Black Friday/Cyber Monday – if this year is anything like the past few years, they won’t have another site wide sale until their big Spring sale, so I’d stock up now if you are eyeing something!
