My favorites, your favorites, and the best gifts from the Sephora sale!
Skincare and makeup rarely goes on sale, so when it does, it’s worth paying attention. I mean, we all use it all the time – so why not snag it at a discount, right?
Enter: The Sephora Sale.
I know 10-20% off might not seem like much, but it adds up QUICK. Haven’t you innocently stopped by Sephora for one thing and left with $200 worth of makeup before? I HAVE!
So, let’s all take advantage of this, shall we? If you’re a Rouge Member then you can get 20% off right now. If you’re a VIB Member like me, you have to wait until November 3rd to get 15% off – helloooo election anxiety retail therapy! 😂 And if you are brand new to Sephora, you can sign up to become an Insider and get 10% off starting 11/5. No matter what category you fall under, the code is HOLIDAYFUN!
Don’t know where to start? Keep scrolling to shop through my favorites, a few of your favorites, and the best beauty gifts this holiday season! As for me, I was going to try a few facial moisturizers but now that this new CBD Face Oil is keeping me hydrated I think I’m going to mostly replenish my makeup with some new items from Rare Beauty. Their products all look gorgeous and have amazing reviews. Plus, Selena Gomez can do no wrong, am I right?!
my favorites:
Laneige Lip Mask
If you’ve been following me a while, you know that I am OBSESSED with this lip mask. I even wrote about it in this post because I love it so much! If you deal with chapped or dry lips, this is the best product I ever ever used. EVER. And it lasts forever, so it’s a great one to get on sale! (My sister-in-law got it for me last Christmas and I haven’t had to replace it yet!) If you buy one thing from this sale, it should be this. Winter is coming 😉
Benefit Roller Liner Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
One of my biggest pet peeves is eyeliner that smudges. It drives me BANANAS and even my trusty eyeliners were starting to bother me. So, I thought I’d switch it up a try a liquid liner that everyone raves about. I don’t know why I thought it would be super hard to apply – it goes on very smooth and stays in place all day! Big fan.
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner
This is my new go-to when I want a little bit of eyeliner without a full made-up liquid liner look. It’s not perfect, but it stays in place pretty well, and I really like the blackish brown color called Damsel.
Supergoop! Glow Screen
Do you have trouble remembering to put SPF on everyday? This product can help with that! The formula feels lovely on your skin (not greasy at all!) and while it works as a primer under foundation, I also wear it as my foundation most days. It doesn’t provide a ton of coverage, but it does give you a nice dewy glow!
Kopari Deodorant
Want to get on board with natural deodorants but haven’t found one that works? THIS ONE DOES! Plus, it smells like coconuts… and who wouldn’t want to smell like coconuts?!
Slip Eye Mask
This silk eye mask + CBD oil are literally the keys to a good night sleep for me. I’ve had mine for a few years now and I love it so much, it’s one of my go-to gifts! I seriously can’t recommend it enough. I don’t even travel without it anymore – it’s life changing.
Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum
During a previous sale, I was really feeling in need of quality anti-aging products for my skin. This Sunday Riley Retinol Serum came very highly recommended, and it was love at first try. I use a small amount 3 to 4 times a week and it helps reduce appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, promotes clearer skin, evens out your complexion, and it’s hydrating! (A major plus for winter!)
Sunday Riley Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream
This Sunday Riley product has more mixed reviews, but I’m glad I took a chance on it! I’ve tried so many under eye products and while they feel and/or smell nice, I don’t think they really do anything. But if I put this one on at night, I swear my eyes are a little less scary the next morning. And if I put it on again before applying my makeup in the morning, I look more awake throughout the day.
Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask
This mask is seriously awesome – it leaves your skin feeling suuuuuper soft and glowy. And it’s a clean brand! The only downside is the price. Is a very small jar worth $65? I’m not totally sure… that being said, if you trying to find the best resurfacing mask out there and it’s in your budget, I say go for it!
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
It took me a while to get behind this mask 100% – at first it just felt like a thick moisturizer. But after taking it on a bunch of trips with me, I totally fell in love with it. There’s a reason that “Jet Lag” is in the title… planes dry out my skin so much, and this rehydrates it like nothing else. I never travel without it anymore!
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask
It may have taken me a second to get on board with the Jet Lag Mask, but not this one! This mask leaves my skin feeling incredibly clean and soft – plus it smells like pumpkins and Fall! I am OBSESSED with it. The best!
Necessaire Sandalwood Body Wash
I was sent a package of Necessaire products a few months ago, and after putting them in our shower, Adam has become completely obsessed with the body wash and exfoliator 😂 Again, do you need to spend this much money on a body wash? Probably not. But does it smell lovely and make your shower feel like a spa? Why yes it does!
Slip Scrunchies
I got these on a whim during the last sale and it’s ALL I want to throw out all my other hair ties. My hair is really thin and if I put it in a normal one, there’s no recovering from the crease 😂 This is so much gentler on my hair – and they’re cute, too!
Dior Lip Glow
This lip balm reacts to your natural pH to create a perfectly subtle pink shade. It’s also super hydrating, so I love having it with me on days when I don’t want to mess with lipstick!
Vital Proteins
I actually didn’t know that Sephora sold Vital Proteins until a follower told me – but YAY for Vital Proteins on SALE! That rarely happens! If you’re new to collagen, you can read all about what it is and why I take it in this blog post.
Aquis Prime Rapid-Dry Hair Turban
I fought this purchase for a while because I figured I could just wrap a towel around my head… but I’m glad I finally gave in. This turban has a button at the nape of your neck that keeps it in place, and it really does help my hair dry faster. Plus, now that it’s cold outside, wet hair on your neck feels terrible… so this can help you beat the chill without needing to blow your hair dry immediately after your shower.
Olaplex Hair Perfector
Jenna, the amazing gal who cuts and colors my hair, convinced me to buy Olaplex last year and I swear it’s a huge reason why I can go 6 months at a time before going back to see her. It’s such an awesome product for healthy hair.
One Two Lash Magnetic Lashes
If you haven’t been able to get lash extensions during COVID, or you just don’t feel comfortable keeping up with the maintenance/expenses – these are a great alternative! You can read all about my experience with them in this blog post.

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
Jessica says this is the “best makeup remover ever!” I personally really like Beautycounter’s Cleansing Balm, otherwise I’d give this one a try!
Glamglow Supermud Mask
Elise says “It’s the only thing that’s made a different with my skin.” I’d say that’s a pretty great review!
Oaui Haircare
I can vouch for their texturizing spray– I don’t use hairspray often, but this is my go-to when I do!
Drunk Elephant Products
I’ve only tried their Babyfacial, but apparently all of their other products are amazing, too!
NARS Blush in Orgasm
“A classic!”
Ole Hendricks Toners
One of you mentioned that the blue bottle and green bottle are great for acne prone skin!
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Sarah says “love this for no makeup days or for finishing off a look.” A few of you also mentioned liking Tatcha Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser and Tatcha Water Cream.

Any idea if this will be the best Sephora sale during the holidays? Will there be a better sale during Black Friday/Cyber Monday?
Hey Mimi! Usually they just have a few special sales on Black Friday/Cyber Monday – if this year is anything like the past few years, they won’t have another site wide sale until their big Spring sale, so I’d stock up now if you are eyeing something!
