What to wear when it’s still cold, but you’re feeling springy
Shirt: c/o Everlane (I have a hard time finding button down shirts that I love. You know – pulled together but casual. Structured but soft. Luckily this one is all of those things! I’m wearing a size 2 and it’s a little long, but I like it tucked in or tied at the waist.) | Earrings: Kendra Scott (I cannot say enough good things about these earrings! They’re so cute and they’re SO LIGHT! I forget I’m even wearing them – it’s awesome.) | Jeans: Everlane (These are definitely my favorite jeans right now. They’re high waisted, they have stretch, and they come in ankle length so petite gals don’t have to shorten them! HOORAY! I wear my usual size 26 in these.) |
Leather Jacket: Mango (My exact one is old, but this one is super similar. Obviously go for your winter coat over this if it’s still freezing outside though!) | Bag: old Vera Bradley (I also LOVE this white crossbody. It looks a lot like my black crossbody that I’ve had for years and wear all the time. SO chic!) | Flats: c/o Everlane (I’ve been in the market for neutral flats and I love that these are pink! Shocker I know ?I normally wear a size 6.5 in shoes and I went with a size 7.)
What to wear when it’s still cold, but you’re feeling springy
A few weeks ago I asked for content suggestions, and I laughed when I saw “what to wear when you’re feeling springy but it’s still cold out!” I mean, WE ALL know this struggle, right?! We can talk about transitional clothes all we want, but not all transitional pieces feel like spring. Luckily, these do!
As I mentioned above, I love this shirt because it feels like the perfect mix of put together and casual. It’s really light and comfortable – not stiff at all. Instead of pairing it with typical boots, these perfect pastel pink flats subtly bring it into the new season. I love that they act as a neutral, just with an extra oomph of femininity. You know I can’t resist pink! And as long as it’s not crazy freezing, they’re totally fair game while it’s still winter!
I also have to call out these earrings because I usually have a low tolerance for statement earrings. I’ll wear them for a few hours max and can not wait to take them off. But these are SO LIGHT I honestly forget that I have them on when I wear them. Plus, they’re so fun! I’m in love.
Are any of you itching for spring, too?!
