Sephora’s Spring Sale has begun! Skincare and beauty products rarely go on sale, so the Spring Sephora Sale is the perfect time to stock up on products you would normally buy whenever you run out. Plus maybe try a few new goodies! We could all use a little quarantine treat, right?
Sephora Spring Savings Event
Here are the important dates to remember:
4/17 – 5/1: 20% off for Rouge members
4/21 – 4/29: 15% off for VIB members
4/23 – 4/27: 10% off for Beauty Insiders
Use code SPRINGSAVE
Now I know 10-20% off might not seem like a lot, but these products add up fast! If you’re going to buy them over the next few months anyway, it’s nice to save what you can. I personally don’t buy all of my beauty products from Sephora (I like Glossier, Beautycounter, Advanced Clinicals and a few others, too!) but I have a few favorites that I always come back to – and I always seem to find new things that I want to try. Not going to lie, I’m pretty jazzed for this next order…
What I’m Ordering This Time
Before diving into my favorite skincare, makeup, haircare, and extras – I thought I’d give you a peek at my own cart right now!
sunday riley a+ high-dose retinol serum
This is already a favorite of mine and you can read more about it in the next section. Long story short – this is the best retinol serum I’ve ever used and I definitely notice a difference in my skin when I use it vs. when I don’t!
stila smudge stick waterproof eyeliner
I still have a backup of their liquid eyeliner, but I’m fresh out of the smudge stick. I get the color “Damsel.” (You can read more about this one below, too!)
Kosas Concealer
I have been really loving a concealer by CoverFX, but my shade isn’t available anymore! So, I thought I’d try something new – and this Kosas concealer comes very highly recommended. I also might get Sephora’s concealer to compare the two. Everyday Pursuits swears by that one and it’s only $14 which is pretty great!
Tata Harper Resurfacing Glow Mask
You know how I was looking for mask recommendations? Well, Grace from The Stripe (who always has the best beauty recs) says that if she could only pick one mask, it would be this one. Color me intrigued…
Moroccanoil Hand Cream
My hands are SO DRY with all of this hand washing, and my body lotion (that I usually also use for my hands) just isn’t cutting it. The reviews on this hand cream are really good, so I’m hoping it helps!
Supergoop! Glowscreen Sunscreen
I’ve been loving my Tula primer when I don’t want to wear foundation recently, but it doesn’t have SPF in it. It sounds like this Glowscreen could be a great SPF alternative – especially over the summer!
Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops
I keep hearing about these bronzing drops and I always thought it seemed like a frivolous purchase for me since I tan easily… but now that we’re all not going out much and we don’t know how long we will be cooped up, I could use a little “sunshine in a bottle“! It sounds like I might be able to add a drop or two to the glowscreen and wear that instead of foundation. I’ll keep you updated!

My Favorite Skincare From Sephora
sunday riley a+ high-dose retinol serum
Last year, I was really feeling 32 and in need of some quality anti-aging products for my skin. This Sunday Riley Retinol Serum came very highly recommended, so I figured I’d give it a go. I purchased it twice and then I ran out about 2 months ago. I told myself I could wait until this sale to get more since it’s not cheap… and I just realized that my skin hasn’t been looking as good since I stopped using it. Sure, a lot of that could be due to stress right now – but I also think this had something to do with it!! I used to use it 3-4 times a week and it helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, promote clearer skin, even out your complexion, and hydrate your skin. I never want to be without it again!
*I’ve also tried the Auto Correct Eye Contour Cream which I like a lot, but I’m just currently using Beautycounter’s eye cream right now!
laneige lip mask
THE BEST LIP PRODUCT EVER. I’m including it in the skincare section instead of makeup because that’s how I use it now. I put it on almost every night before bed and it’s the only thing that really keeps my lips hydrated, even if they are super chapped in the winter. A jar also lasts forever, so it’s a great one to get on sale. I literally cannot rave about it enough. It’s the best.
summer fridays jet lag mask
I know you’ve probably seen a million people talk about this mask, but honestly, it lives up to the hype. Normally I tell people that it’s a must for travel – but even though we all aren’t traveling anywhere right now, it’s still a great buy! I like to think of it as a thick moisturizer and I usually leave it on as an overnight mask. It’s crazy hydrating and the perfect product to pull out whenever your skin is feeling dry.
summer fridays overtime mask
Guys, this mask smells like pumpkins and FALL 😂 Besides smelling good, I also like that it’s gently exfoliating, and it leaves your skin feeling really clean and soft.
drunk elephant babyfacial
My sister-in-law got this mask for me a few years ago and I totally understand why it has such a cult following now. Your skin feels SO smooth after you use it! Is it a necessary purchase if you’re on a budget? No way. Is it a nice splurge or gift? Absolutely.
My Favorite Makeup From Sephora
stila stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner
One of my biggest pet peeves is eyeliner that smudges. It drives me BANANAS and even my trusty eyeliners were starting to bother me. So, I thought I’d switch it up a try a liquid liner that everyone raves about. I don’t know why I thought it would be super hard to apply – it goes on very smooth and stays in place all day! Big fan.
stila smudge stick waterproof eyeliner
This is my new go-to when I want a little bit of eyeliner without a full made-up liquid liner look. It’s not perfect, but it stays in place pretty well, and I really like the blackish brown color called Damsel.
Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara
I am usually very pessimistic when it comes to mascara since my lashes are very straight, but this is the best mascara I’ve ever tried. It’s lengthening, it doesn’t clump, and it stays on!
Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Face Filter
As you might have caught on, I’ve been really into wearing primers instead of foundation, especially now that getting “dolled up” is only for me (and Adam 😂). This primer makes your skin really glowy and it blurs your pores nicely!
Hoola Matte Bronzer
The best bronzer! I love that it’s not sparkly, and it’s really buildable – so I can play around with contouring from time to time without feeling too made up.
dior lip glow
This lip balm reacts to your natural pH to create a perfectly subtle pink shade. It’s also super hydrating, so I love it on days when I don’t want to mess with lipstick!
Laura Mercier Velour Extreme Matte Lipstick
If you love a matte lipstick, this one is my favorite! I have the color “Fresh” and it’s the prettiest deep pink. Love it!

My Favorite Haircare From Sephora
olaplex hair perfector
Jenna, the amazing gal who cuts and colors my hair, convinced me to buy Olaplex last year and I swear it’s a huge reason why I can go 6 months at a time before going back to see her. It’s such an awesome product for healthy hair.
aquis prime rapid-dry hair turban
I fought this purchase for a while because I figured I could just wrap a towel around my head… but I’m glad I gave in last year. This turban has a button at the nape of your neck that keeps it in place, and it really does help my hair dry faster. Such a great purchase.
slip scrunchies
I got these scrunchies on a whim last year and while they are somewhat of a frivolous purchase, they’re awesome for my thin hair. Regular ties not only leave a crease, but they also definitely damage my hair. Adam gets so grossed out at the hair on my other ties 😂 These are so much gentler – and they’re cute, too!
Living Proof Dry Shampoo
I don’t use dry shampoo all that often, but Living Proof is a great option when I do! I like that it’s not super powdery and doesn’t leave a residue.

Extras From Sephora
One Two Lash Magnetic Lashes
I’m actually going to update my blog post all about lash extensions this week to include these magnetic lashes, because they are an awesome alternative to full blown lash extensions. Especially now that that isn’t even an option for any of us right now! If you go to my “Fave Products” highlight on Instagram, I saved a little tutorial of how they work. They take a little bit of practice, but overall, they’re pretty easy to master!
kopari deodorant
Want to get on board with natural deodorants but haven’t found one that works? THIS ONE DOES! Plus, it smells like coconuts… and who wouldn’t want to smell like coconuts?!
slip eye mask
This silk eye mask + CBD oil are literally the keys to a good night sleep for me. I’ve had mine for a few years now and I love it so much, it’s one of my go-to gifts! I seriously can’t recommend it enough. I don’t even travel without it anymore – it’s life changing.
vital proteins
I actually didn’t know that Sephora sold Vital Proteins until a follower told me – but YAY for Vital Proteins on SALE! That rarely happens! If you’re new to collagen, you can read all about what it is and why I take it in this blog post.
