Best Fall Candles
Want to know the best fall candles to buy this season? Keep reading!
Since the weather has officially gotten chilly, I’ve been feeling that urge to put on a sweater and burn some candles. Of course I know I’m not the only one, so I put a question box up on Instagram asking what your favorite best fall candles are. I don’t want to miss out on the best of the best, you know?! So, this is a quick compilation of your responses, plus a few that I own and love. The only questions left is should I snuggle up with a book or Netflix while they burn? 😉
Best Fall Candles
Pumpkin Woods Candle
As soon as I saw the glass pumpkin candles at Target, I knew I was going to buy one. I originally reached for this color but I didn’t like the scent very much. Luckily, this Pumpkin Woods scent is delightful and I love the way the brown color blends in with our kitchen decor. So cute!
Caramel Apple Crisp Candle
We also snagged this $10 candle when we were there and we’ve been burning it a lot. I love that there is definitely a scent, but it is SUPER subtle. So many apple best fall candles are too sweet for my liking, but this one is perfect!
Hotel Lobby Cabin Candle
The last one on my personal list is the Cabin scent by Hotel Lobby. We got it last Christmas and were instantly obsessed. It smells like you’re in a fancy cabin resort next to a beautiful fire. These candles are not cheap, but they are made from 100% natural ingredients, and make a great gift for anyone who is normally difficult to buy for. (I’m also VERY excited for their New York candle which launched this weekend!!)
Hotel Lobby Paris Nuit
According to you, Paris Nuit is another one to add to your Hotel Lobby cart. “It gives me smoky, I’m in a Paris pied-a-terre with a killer fireplace, vibes.” Say no more!
Voluspa Blond Tabac Candle
This one of the best fall candles was a popular recommendation – with notes of warm perique tabac, vanilla husk, and sandalwood.
Voluspa Forbidden Fig Candle
If you prefer a more floral scent, their Forbidden Fig candle was also recommended a lot.
Apple Cider Brooklyn Candle
I got a Brooklyn Candle as a gift a few years ago and loved it (I can’t remember what scent I had!) but a bunch of you recommended this Apple Cider one for fall.
Bath & Body Works
This one should come at no surprise, right? They are basically the mecca for scented candles – but which ones should you get? Leaves (#1 rec by far), Flannel, Sweater Weather, and Cider Lane were the most recommended.
Ten|4 Candle Co
I did not know about Ten|4 before this question box but WOW I’m so glad you suggested it! They are a local candle company that donates a portion of every sale to pet shelters and animal rescues in Chicago. How amazing is that?!?!
Capri Blue Pumpkin Clove Candle
Okay first of all, this candle is so pretty! Not only is it a favorite of yours, but it also has 1000+ 5 star reviews. The scent is buttery pumpkin with a touch of orange zest within a vanilla and cinnamon base.
Maple Syrup Tin Candle
Speaking of good reviews, those of you who love this wooden wick candle really love it.
Otherland Sun Suede
I looove Otherland candles, but I’ve never tried Sun Suede! They describe this scent as warm, spicy and woody with salty saffron, pink peppercorn and white suede. I’m intrigued.
Woodwick Fireside Candle
Looking for an affordable candle brand? This one is $17 for 100 hours!
Broken Rosary by Boy Smells
I’ve heard great things about Boy Smells – Kush is another popular scent by them!
Thymes Frasier Fir Candle
Frasier Fir is a little bit more of a winter scent than fall, but I kept it on this list anyway.
Cider Mill by Edgewater Candles
Just like the name suggests, this company is based right in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago! They’re actually at Apple Fest in Lincoln Square this weekend if you want to smell them in person!
Welsch Candle Co
Welsch Candle Co is an eco-friendly brand run by a mother/daughter team from Wisconsin.
