A cozy fleece pullover because Winter isn’t over yet…(+ a playlist!)
What I’m Wearing:
Fleece Pullover: Thread & Supply (Love this sherpa – just as soft as the outside as it is on the inside! I’m wearing a small and it’s definitely oversized on me, but I like it. Extra cozy!) | Bison Jacket: c/o United By Blue (This jacket is insulated with sustainably sourced bison fiber and recycled polyester – and it’s SO warm! Totally made for freezing days and/or ski trips to the mountains.) |
Leggings: J.Crew (I have a size small and they’re a great basic legging to have in my closet!) | Cashmere Beanie: Halogen (My exact one is sold out, but this one by the same brand is also cashmere and it’s on sale!) | Bag: c/o Abby Alley (This is by a local designer doing amazing things. You can read more about her ethical company in this post!) | Snow Boots: J.Crew (The best snow boots! So warm and comfortable without being super bulky. I’m normally a 6.5 in shoes and I got a size 7. They’re also on sale right now!)
Listen. I know we all want it to be Spring… but the truth is, Spring doesn’t hit Chicago until April at the earliest. Don’t worry though – we’ve got this! All you need is some snow boots, a cozy sherpa, maybe a jacket upgrade, and definitely a fun playlist 😉
Let’s start with the fleece pullover! I was near Nordstrom a few weeks ago, so I swung in to take a peek. As soon as I picked up this pullover, I knew it was coming home with me. Is it the most fashionable thing in the world? Nope. Is it the best fitting thing I own? Haha that would also be a no! But when it comes to winter clothes, we all need some solid snuggle gear. This was MADE for days when you get shake off the chill… and the fact that it’s oversized makes it even more cozy!
Moving on to this coat! If you’ve been on the hunt for a super warm coat you can take on your next ski trip, I definitely recommend checking out United By Blue. It is a sustainable apparel brand with a focus on waterway conservation. In fact, for every product sold, they remove a pound of trash from the world’s oceans and waterways. So cool, right?
This particular jacket is just as impressive as you’d expect from a brand like that. It is insulated with a blend of sustainably sourced bison fiber and recycled polyester. It is moisture wicking, temperature regulating, and antimicrobial. It’s seriously perfect for a ski trip – it makes me want to book another weekend at the Grand Geneva like last year!
Do you have a fleece pullover?
Now that I’ve given in to this trend, I can’t imagine winter without one anymore. Also, here’s a fun little playlist to help you beat those winter blues! It’s kind of a mix of genres, but who doesn’t like finding new music to listen to?!
