My 10 Favorite Beauty Products
Hey friends! I’ve been getting a ton of questions about my makeup recently, which has been both super flattering and very surprising for me. I’ve never considered myself a makeup expert, but I have tried out a LOT of products over the years – and while I’m still always trying new things, these 10 are my absolute favorites.
I’ll admit that these aren’t the ONLY products I use, but this list is everything I can’t live without. If you read this back when it was first published, you may remember that I didn’t list a foundation because there wasn’t one I loved. I’m happy to report that has changed! There is obviously still more I could cover (hair brushes, eyeshadows, lipsticks), but I wanted to narrow down the list to the things I actively purchase again AS SOON as they run out. Come on, you know that panicked feeling!
The 10 Best Beauty Products I Own
Bioclarity Cleanse Face Wash – $9.95
Earlier this year, I tried out Bioclarity’s Essential Routine for a collaboration… and I completely fell in love. While all 3 products in that set are great, the “Cleanse” face wash is my favorite. It’s gentle, it gets makeup off really well, and I don’t think I’ve ever found a face wash that makes my skin feel as good as this one does. Also, this paired with my Advanced Clinicals Tea Tree Oil helps heal any breakouts that pop up quickly and with minimal scarring.
Sunday Riley A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum
During Sephora’s last sale, I was really feeling 32 and in need of some quality anti-aging products for my skin. This Sunday Riley Retinol Serum came very highly recommended, so I figured I’d give it a go.
Listen, I know it’s hard to tell if something like this actually works, but I’m pretty sure it actually works. You only need a very small amount and I only use it 3 to 4 times a week. It helps reduce appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, promotes clearer skin, evens out your complexion, and it’s hydrating! (A major plus for winter!)
Beautycounter Countermatch Adaptive Lotion – $49
The best lightweight face lotion I’ve ever used. I always thought face lotion contributed to breakouts in the past – they felt too thick on my face and I’d opt for a serum instead. This one feels super light and even the tiniest bit makes my skin feel moisturized. Even Adam steals this from me – it’s so good!
Tula Face Filter Primer – $34
Holy moly, this primer is THE BOMB. Since I work from home, I don’t always want to put foundation on every day, but this primer makes my skin look more even when I leave to go to the gym, walk Luna, or even run errands. I also love their eye balm – it makes the prettiest highlighter!

Cover FX Power Play Concealer – $30
I get really bad dark circles under my eyes, so I’m always in the market for a great under eye concealer. Liz Adams influenced me to try this one and it’s knocked my Bareminerals fave out of 1st place. Not only is it brightening, but it stays in place all day. So great for when you look super tired – PHEW.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
One of my biggest pet peeves is eyeliner that smudges. It drives me BANANAS and even my trusty eyeliners were starting to bother me. So, I thought I’d switch it up a try a liquid liner that everyone raves about. I don’t know why I thought it would be super hard to apply – it goes on very smooth and stays in place all day! I also like the Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner when I want a more casual look. Not every day calls for liquid eyeliner for me 😉
Burt’s Bees Natural Brow Pencil – $9.99
Sometimes I feel like I’m on the only woman in the world who doesn’t wax, microblade, or whatever else to her eyebrows. I just go at up with a good old fashioned tweezer… and then fill them in with this brow pencil! I like this pencil better than any of the others I’ve tried because it’s very easy to apply, while still looking natural. It’s a simple formula, the brush makes it easy to blend, and it feels completely normal. I’ll never forget a filler I tried once that made my eyebrows feel stuck on my face… I can’t handle stuff like that!
Bareminerals GenNude Blush – $24
I’m always down to try a new blush, but I always come back to this one. I really like how buildable it is, especially when you apply it with the Bareminerals Blooming Blush Brush. Seriously, the only makeup brush I’ve ever cared about ?
Ecotools Perfecting Blender Duo – $6.99
I know everyone loves the Beauty Blender, but that is $20 for one, and both of these only cost $9.99 (on sale for $6.99 right now!). After using both, I really think the Ecotools sponges work just as well. And who doesn’t like saving a little money?
Dior Lip Glow Color Reviving Lip Balm – $34
You know when you want some color on your lips, but you don’t want to wear lipstick? This lip balm solves that problem… and then some! The formula reacts to the chemistry of your lips to enhance their natural color. In other words, your lips get their own custom color, while also getting tons of moisture. I also really love a similar $14 balm from Winky Lux – you can read more about that in this post!
What are your favorite beauty products?
You can read about some of my other favorite beauty products in this post about what to get from the Sephora Sale! Also, special shoutout to my favorite lip mask – I didn’t include it here because I don’t use it religiously all year round… but it is a LIFE SAVER in the winter!
